It seems like this has been a very long time in coming! We finally have started on the mooresville property, and it's pretty exciting, minus the poison ivy, wasps, misquotes, the never ending pile of beer bottles, ants, bees...
oh wait, was that complaining?
No, it's pretty exciting, to be able to take part in the process and not have to use your own hard work and sweat like the last time we did this. Now I could definitely trade in the many misquote bites that I have received over the past few days, but I have heard that's part of the experience, and luckily I have not acquired the scratchy bumps on my skin commonly referred to as poison ivy. Though I have had a go-around with chiggers more then once.
Anyway to move past the bugs. We started clearing on Tuesday and hopefully we will be pouring the basement by next week. Exciting stuff! I think around this time last year is when we first considered putting our old house up for sale.
